Monotonous Life
03:50
|
|||
Work or study all day long
I'm surprised I found time to write this song
'Cause after work we're forced to consume
To appease corporate managers in costumes
It's like being brought up in factory
Where you're produced and taught to be
Running in the hamster wheel
All life long
When you're finished with your week feel free to spend
But remember that the week end will soon end!
Consume alcohol and go to sleep
It'll make you forget that you're a sheep
The weekend's only a distraction
To make you feel satisfaction
But then the week starts over
Once more

My mind is filled with confusing emotions
I'll tell you why - it's because of these notions
You can tell me I can choose exactly who I wanna be
But that doesn't really sound that truthful to me
When I was young you told me how to behave
In the back of my mind, your seeds made me a slave
And later in my life you pressured me to death
To make the right the decisions - the ones that fit you best
I don't want to be a fucking fish in your fucking sea
And I don't want to be a victim of authority
My mind is my own, though your power is major
But that's because you steal the fruit of my labour
Being different is harder than you think
And if you see yourself as different you need to realise one thing:
Dont conform to uniforms! Be your-fucking-self!
You're different in your mind, not in what you wear
But somehow you still conform to another scheme
And it doesn't matter how much you try, you won't fulfill your dreams
But if you don't wanna be tamed, and put in place
Lace up your boots and kick the rulers in their faces
I don't want to be a fucking fish in your fucking sea
And I don't want to be a victim of authority
My mind is my own, though your power is major
But that's because you steal the fruit of my labour

Bending The Truth
03:00
|
|||
Looking at myself and realising
That my knowledge is centered around profiling
A profile based around an industry
Whose purpose is to pacify the enemy
The common guy who knows more than he thinks
But is stuck in sofa staring at things
And as I look at these things myself, what do I see?
A bourgeouis weapon - my TV?!
No one sees it - but everyone's watching
No one needs - but everyone's affected by it
No one hears it - but everyone's listening
No one feels it - but it's all around us!
Don't you know about the money behind it?
Don't you know who's buying it?
There are news and shows everywhere I see
A multimillion dollar industry
That can twist and turn reality to shreds
And still manage to get it inside our heads
It's a misrepresentation of what is right
So turn off your TV every night
No one sees it - but everyone's watching
No one needs - but everyone's affected by it
No one hears it - but everyone's listening
No one feels it - but it's all around us!
No one sees it, no one feels it
No one sees it, no one feels it
No one sees it, no one feels it
No one sees it, BUT IT'S ALL AROUND US

Permanent Revolution
03:05
|
|||
Social economy and exploitation
Freedom in disguise as justification
Your class decides your place in society
Your economy determines your well being
If you're lucky, you're in control
You won't have to sell your soul
'Cause your profit margins are stolen from production
You're the ones gaining from this system's corruption!
There's no freedom but freedom of trade
But this freedom does not apply to slaves
Among these slaves are the third world population
Victims of exploitation
Just like the western working class
They too are being fucked in the ass
By the people in the company board chairs
The people in the way of classless welfare!
Why are we stuck in this same old system?
Why can't we do something different?
We ought to be equal, there's one solution
Permanent revolution, REVOLUTION!
The billion richest got the same income
as the three million poorest; how come?
Well, let's just say the richest billions
Make their profit off of their minions
Most of the money that their slaves produce
Are most of the money that the rich use
Why is that? Why is this displayed?
'Cause the rich can hide behind the freedom of trade!
There will always be greedy people
Looking to use someone feeble
And when the poor don't have a choice
Class struggle will rejoice
'Cause you have to work or you'll die in the street
You won't afford shoes on your feet
The system is modeled after certain demands
And they are the ones of the ruling class
Why are we stuck in this same old system?
Why can't we do something different?
We ought to be equal, there's one solution
Permanent revolution, REVOLUTION!

Merging Shreds
04:25
|
|||
Listen up! This might get loud!
A blinding light! A painful sound!
I'm the silver screen in the world of power
I'm working here at least every hour
My narrative evermore so grand
If it's not there who'll understand?
The surface is dead and so is the bulk
I am confusion, this is my work
Merging shreds
Disturbing and dead
Forget yourself
Forget yourself
Simulation creates content
Not the other way around
Then what's really true?
Nothing is profound
Society destroys theories
Not the other way around
Then what's really true?
Let's break it down, yeah!
Existing things are reflections
And true presence? Imagination!
Underneath the skin there's no bone
It's all the same, it's all at show
The surface's now the object
The reflection's now the subject
These things are dead and so is the bulk
I am confusion, this is my work!
Merging shreds
Disturbing and dead
Forget yourself
Forget yourself
Simulation creates content
Not the other way around
Then what's really true?
Nothing is profound
Society destroys theories
Not the other way around
Then what's really true?
Let's break it down, yeah!

No Order
03:20
|
|||
Look at them! Adjusting forcefully
Look at them! Consuming passively
Look at them! Acting submissively
Look at them! They all feel misery
Society! It's a specatcle, graphically
Society! It's an act, completely
Society! Puts us in custody
Society! Fights us through imagery
The stuff that you buy is the way that they keep you
Trapped in the boredom of living
Markets and prices, devices to hold you
Trapped under ice, still breathing
Social roles, making us actresses
Social roles, making us waitresses
Social roles, in this great absurd play
Social roles, selling our time and place
Social roles, structuring us instinctly
Social roles, taking over reality
Social roles, making us commodities
Social roles, the reason to misery
Yet it's from these roles that we must exercise
A platform to destroy society
In the future our roles will be gone
And we can all live freely
Through no order there will be order,
action and equality
By abolishing value we will find value,
and our own true meaning

This Morning
05:50
|
|||
As I woke up this morning and started yawning
My mouth was firmly shut
It'd been taped together and bound in leather
'cause the past is being cut
Records deleted, the past defeated!
The memories aren't enough
So I turned on the TV and then it hit me
it can not be turned off!
I wish I was alive
Two plus two equals five
Eighty-four, or today
Does it matter what I say?
As I woke up this morning and started gawking
At the leader's big bald head
He's not the nicest, he symbolizes
Solidarity's truthful death
It's kind of numbening, it's kind of dumbening
'Cause you can not think for yourself
Just float along stream, it might as well seem
like we've eradicated the self
I wish I was alive
Two plus two equals five
Eighty-four, or today
Does it matter what I say?
It's becoming like that book
It's striking! Have a look!
As I woke up this morning and started moving
to the hegemonic
It had me itching, it had me twitching,
I caught up with my defeat
The rulers are cult like, they're followed by termites,
a swarm with no intelligence
They only trust the leaders, like mindless needers,
always following guidance

A Grand Illusion?
03:10
|
|||
Who's to tell me what this ought to be?
A projection of my inner memory?
Who's to say this isn't a dream?
And that real life isn't what it seems?
Who's to tell me there's more than that?
I might just be a brain in a vat
What if I'm just dreaming?
You can 't prove anything -
Impulses I'm receiving
- that says I'm anything!
Who's to say that night makes your mind rest?
This might just be a psychological test
Who's to say that you're nothing but an illusion?
A projection of myself, or maybe a version?
Who's to say that reality is clear?
When the unreal might be experienced as real?

Occupied
03:40
|
|||
Whatever I do is okay by all measures
Because I am acquainted with the mighty man
My racism ain't racism; I can get away with it
It's foreign politics, nothing you would understand
But simple and straight forward: my army's just better
And I'm allowed to steal your land because I can
'Cause I got immunity; a permit to do anything
I wonder why the protests aren't bigger in my land?
American bombs over Palestine
The buttons are pushed by the blue-and-white
Bang-bang-bang rebellion wiped out
Accepted racism, over and out
Occupation in the modern age
A starving strip suppressed with rage
You act surprised when reaction comes
And then you reply with more and more bombs
Terrorism ain't terrorism if it's done by a governed state
Or white people for that matter - no one else can control your fate

Don't Be Afraid
02:00
|
|||
Going through life as a lucid dream
A simple obedient of this corrupt regime
Going through life, following their scheme
Not thinking for yourself, not following your dreams
So start the action, start breaking free
Make your own standards, release creativity!
Start to take action, start to unite
If you know the ugly truth you should start the fight
The only thing they want is you in their line
Working for illusions, leaving you behind
They use money as a device of control
Enslaving the young, making them sell their soul
Don't be a part of the corruption
Who do you think is guilty of this worlds destruction?
Don't be a part of this mindless consumption
Live free from greed and alienation!
Don't be limited by their rules
Come on!
Don't be limited by their rules
Don't be afraid
